The trend of spending excessive time on the internet is becoming popular in today’s generation. It will have adverse effects due to wastage of time of users, health ailments and cybercrimes .

The above development results in wasting time on social media. This is because instead of doing outdoor activities , exploring their talent and learning skills, they are usually distracted features such as editing and lighting pictures; consequently, less time is leftover for their own career goals.

Moreover, some people can face health issues. The reason being is that sitting in the blue light-emitting screens in the same position for a long time, which puts harmful radiation on their eyes, thereby, suffering from eye – disorders and high medical bills run in the future. Had my nephew, for example, not played PUBG game for three hours per day, he would not have developed blured vision.

Besides making the users unhealthy, it makes them vulnerable cybercrimes. Since many people disclose their personal information on the internet in which out of websites are totally fake, hackers can blackmail them later which can lead financial loss in upcoming time.

In conclusion, as many people waste their important time , face health problems as well as get prone to crime over the internet, it is a negative advancement.
