Peole who do not lead a healthy lifestyle and eat unproperly should have to pay more for health care when they feel sick. I completely disagree with this viewpoin and explain it in my essay.
Some people might think it is unfair to pay the same ampount of money when they go to hospitals, as people spent time and energy to keep their health. It is true because people who take care of their body can be cured much easier than the other group of people. However, in my opinion, sorting patients out according to their health care and diet puts burden on health care workers, disturbing them from their main responsibility of caring people. Therefore, it is fair charging people equally when they need check-ups and teatment.
Additionally, people are born with different characters: some are strong, persistant and others weak, lazybony. This means that persistant people can easily follow healthy lifestyle and keep diet, but it can cause hardship for other type of people. For example, if people, who are used to eating sugary and salty food and never do exersise, feel ill and need medical care but charged a lot, they would become antisocial activists because of high payments instead of taking care of their health. Moreover, people who do not care of their body and eat healthy, are poor that is why cannot afford or do not have time to care of themselves. For this reason, increasing payments of hospital facilities for some type of people would cause additional strain on low income families.
In conclusion, although there are some people who agree to install high pay for health care in the case of unhealthy diet and lifestyle, I do not think that this would be the right encouragement to make population more healthy.
