On the one hand, a library’s duty is to provide its readers with different types of books and in this way more people will attracted to libraries. As well as books will help people to expend their worldview and enriches people’s spirituality. Their brain will work faster and obtaining or solving some issues would be easier. However, some people get cultural recreation from it. Since with the hustle and bustle of cities they can not read anything with pleasure. Furthermore, some civils visit there for being avoided from different gadgets which they get bored to utilize them everyday. And if that time, someone will put some kind of noisy video or dvd, they will interrupt them from reading. because libraries are one of those places where silence prevails. For these reasons libraries should spend money only to provide books.
On the other hand, majority of people wants to be in tune with the times and in this case they will rely on high-tech gadgets such as phones laptops or DVD. In addition, with the help of technologies people can receive information fast and easily, since reading requires much more time than watching or listening. However, no one is in same financial condition so not everyone have an access to internet or not all individual cam afford expensive gadgets. So if librariesallocate some money from their budget to buy and provide these devices everyone would have a chance to use these things for their own purposes. That is why libraries should also separate cash from their budget to provide readers with last model technologies.
Taking everything into account, I think libraries should provide both with books and with high-tech goods such as software or DVD since not everyone can buy expensive gadgets so buying technologies libraries will give a chance to its readers to use these devices on the other hand readers wants peace they dont want nobody to disturb them so for this reason i think libraries ought to provide with books only.
