The question of whether artificial intelligence improving it’s skills in arts making human value reduced has sparked a considerable debate. From my perspective disadvantages of AI in this case would outweight the advantages.
On the one hand, one of the main advantages of AI in fields including art and design is inspiration. To be specific, creating art through AI can give inspiration for another type of work, combining two ideas might create an creative image. Once being inspired is easy, it is usually fast to develop in this field. Another primary benefits of AI is it’s convenience to create art. To be specific, generating ideas is so facilitated with AI people can see the revision before creating it themselves, saving abundant amount of time and nerves.
On the other hand, there are several drawbacks of using AI in arts, one of which is addiction. This is because, getting used to generate composites through AI stimulates laziness in people. As a result, human creativity might be threathen, and development in arts would be minimized. One of the other disadvantages of this case is reducing the value of human art. More specifically, as AI is capable of deploying human style art and generating it in cheaper way, it promotes the deprication of human art. This, in turn usually leads to loose young artists in future.
In conclusion, the usage of AI in creative arts is a double-edged sword with both merits and demerits. Nevertheless, I firmly believe that human population should be aware in using AI in order to achieve development not the drawback effects.
