Education plays a primary role in personality development of all individuals around the world. Nowadays, a significant question is arising – who should be responsible for what is to be taught in schools. Someone believes that the government ought to be in charge of the educational process. However, in my opinion, this responsibility must be taken by teachers.
To begin with, I think that the government creates the learning program in accordance to the current labour market. They see what qualities must an employee have. As a result, they adapt school learning materials to required skills. Additionally, the government attempts to foresee possible challenges and changes at labour market. To solve these problems, students are taught to be versatile. Therefore, if they are experts in various fields, it will be easier to find a new job or retrain.
Nevertheless, particularly school teachers interact with students of different ages almost every day. Therefore, they understand in a full range childrens’ psychology and what is relevant for them at this stage of growing. Exactly instructors are aware of the amount of information which pupil’s brain is able to process and memorise. They understand better than anyone else that excessive efforts are unnecessary and unproductive if your mind is overloaded.
In conclusion, I am sure that teachers should be in charge of the educational process, specifically, create the curriculum and syllabus. If the government trust professionals, students will absorb information in an appropriate for their brain way. Furthermore, the connection between teachers and teenagers will be strong and efficient.
