The gap between poor and wealthy people is one of the most significant problems in the modern society. While some people believe that wealthy people should financially support poor people in some of the social areas, the others are confident that the less wealthy people need to achieve the financial success by themselves.
On the one hand, it is the responsibility of every individual to be able to support herself or himself financially. During the process of socialization, we are being prepared for the adult life and for the potential obstacles. We are aware of that fact that we are going to need the proper education in order to get access to health and other essential services. From this point of view, a logical question arises: Why should other people be obligated to support those who did not succeeded financially?
On the other hand, in reality, this issue is more complex. Clearly, there are enthusiastic individuals that create their own way and achieve heights. However, some people are unfortunate to be born in the less wealthy regions or countries, while the others have more opportunities only by being born or/and grown up in the more successful families.
Due to social inequalities that still exist, I firmly believe that less wealthy people need financial support in the most needed social services, such as health and education, from those who have financially more succeeded. This could have a positive impact on the lives of people in need and regulate the social and financial gaps.
