There is a means of farming, such as vertical farming. Vertical farming is modern and complex type of agronomy, and some people believe that this kind of farming has negative effect on conservative farming, while others think that this measure helps provide food security. I am going to describe these two stands.
First of all, vertical farming is a progressive modern variety of growing plants. By using this method, you can attain a great output of fruits and vegetables, which leads to famine problem solution. Essentially, you can automate many processes of plants ripening so as to reduce involvement of people in growing plants, which means there will be improvement in overall quality.
On the other hand, vertical farming entails unemployment. Most farmers work manually and cannot afford complex expensive equipment, and automation creates lower prices of products, which lead to incompetitivness of farmers. Consequently, a majority of farmers will be broke. Furthermore, there will be economic recession of regional budget due to increasing redundancy. In other words, there will be less money in a turnover and less workers in production.
To summarize, there are two sides of vertical farming, one creates a good opportunity for solving a problem of people’s hunger, and the other leads to unemployment and poverty of farmers. I think that the implementation of vertical farming should be restricted in order to maintain local economy and good income of agriculturists, and the government should subsidize poor regions so that more firms can upgrade their own production to decrease prices.
