There is an argument for oral is the best way of communication than written. I do agree with this statement because by face-to-face communication it reflects one’s personality and overall identity.
Firstly oral communication is far more effective. As it’s a direct conversation from sender to receiver so that there is no chance to spread misinformation. Even if any unwanted mistakes happened, it can be apologized instantly. Even though can identify of a problem solution within the shortest possible time. However, it helps to convince a person by communicating with him. We can know what’s really a person wants to express. For example, in every shop salesman directly communicate with customer rather than giving him a leaflet. Throughout the conversation salesman learn customers requirement and gain his trust. It also built a bonding between customer and the brand.
Another benefit is by doing oral communication it’s reflects not only what opposite person saying, it also a combination of body movement, personality, gesture and mentality. Because in written people get time to think and use polished word and correct his mistake. But in verbal communication people express what’s actually in his mind. For example, every companies focus on interview to judge an applicant qualification. Through that interview they try to identify his weakness and strength.
In conclusion, although written communication carries weigh of future prove but a person can truly judge by face-to-face conversation.it express a persons true identity and personality.
