It is believed that teenagers should be required to attend compulsory education until they are 18. In my opinion, I concur with this statement in light of these following grounds
First, young people aren’t alert enough to recognize and prevent the difficulties in life. As their mental brain is developing, they will be much easier to make mistakes than adults. Therefore, they should be educated carefully to avoid these as much as possible. For instance, if teenagers aren’t taught about gender education, they will be much more likely to do wrong things whenever they hang out with their friends. Supposing a man was drunk, he wasn’t conscious and he made a girl pregnant. This will give rise to some serious consequences such as costing a lot of money on health, wasting valuable time,etc
Second, the world is developing more and more thanks to A.I and advanced technology with high speeds. Hence, teenegers should be aware of their fundamental role for the world’s future. In order to do that, they need to be taught carefully at the curriculums of their school about what legal rights they can do and what responsibilities they have to do. It is illustrated that providing teenagers are taught about these things, they will become good citizens and make enormous contributions to the society. Thus, the society will be much better and happier.
Finally, they can learn how to have good relationships with people around them in order that they can make new friends easily when they move to their new school. The older we get, the more friends they get. In order to have good effect like that, students must be taught about moral lessons at school about what they should do and they shouldn’t do so that they would join hands in bonding and strengthening their community which are positive actions leading to inspiring other people to do good things.
In conclusion, it is fundamental that adolescents should be required to attend compulsory education until they are at 18, which brings good impacts on the development of their people and the society
