Some people think that the essential goal of establish museums is to entertain visitors, however others think their purpose is to educate. In my view, I concur with the group who believe that museums aim to acknowledge people about the preserve something in there.
In recent day, one of the function of museum is to entertain people who visit there. Museum has several aim as an attractive place, including museum provide unique goods to entertain guest and grab many people as a place for relaxing on a free time. For instance, the Art Exhibition of Van Gogh Museum immerse visitors by many old-fashioned and meaningful painting that combined with sophisticated artificial intelligence (AI). As a result, the Van Gogh painting apply on the wall and give a mesmerising view with vivid and motion picture like real world. Indeed, this scenery affect to human psychological condition, especially for realising stress and stimulate people sense with relaxing stimulation.
On the other hand, I concur with the group who believe museum as a tool to provide education. This support to educate people through recognise the preserve something that have been extinct in the past, and in addition, museum help to recognise about the past history in details, especially due to chronological time. As an example, Geological Museum in Bandung provide the process of first living things grow on the earth, including prehistory about the jurassic world that extinct a million year ago. Visitors can learn about the fossil that have been extinct in the past and even the extinction process how they could disappear from the earth. Furthermore, museum give a chronological time that can recognise people about timeline of the species in the past.
In conclusion, museum can entertain people through the fascinating preserve good, but the essential aim of establishing museum is to educate people about something that extinct in the past and old time history that well-preserve in there. Given this situation, government should be support the museum as place to acknowledge people about the past history, not only through the strong policy but also education public event that can make people curious about that.
