Many architects believe that the construction of buildings should be designed with one’s choice, while in reality some cities have control over the designing of buildings. In this essay, I will examine both views and conclude my opinion.
On one hand, it is evident that constructing offices similarly indicates uniformity among society. This depiction also states that everyone is treated equally. Furthermore, when factories are constructed according to the rules, then it makes people work more efficiently. For example, Apple is one of the leading companies in the world to sell phones with high prices. However, their infrastructure always remained simple to ensure that every employee is valued despite their status. Nonetheless, these can be achieved if people designed buildings uniquely.
On the other hand, it is essential to consider the drawbacks that arise when builders design the way they like. Firstly, when a home is built with a rich appeal, it creates a sense of superiority in society. This results in friction among the residents. Also, the maintenance of these houses becomes difficult. For instance, in my village, many families struggle to repair underground tanks, because the workers need to dig deeper searching for the solution. This situation is due to the fact that houses are built in different designs. However, the merit of buildings according to the builders choice is that they can allocate rooms to their specific needs. Such as, people who do not like the garden in front of the house can plan to construct it in the backyard.
To conclude, although it is important to construct homes and offices depending on our choices. However, based on the above mentioned arguments, I believe the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
