In a world dominated by borderless communication and worldwide competition, it has become increasingly common for athletes and average people, particularly in European countries like the UK and Brazil. While there are clear merits, I believe that it does more harm than good.
Advocates of investing in specialized sports facilities cite various reasons to support their stance. When authorities allocate to specialized amenities, they contribute to the improvement of tourism and the enhancement of the national economy of the country. It attracts many tourists from throughout the world to support their team. It improves the famousness of the country and helps to attract many people to visit various types of museums or events.
Despite these arguments, I believe that the benefits of investing in specialized sports facilities for average people are more significant and qualitative. If the government supports average people, it helps them to keep safe from sedentary lifestyles and different types of serious diseases like obesity, and people become physically strong and healthy. Decreasing the number of illnesses helps to improve public health and boost the reputation of the country.
In conclusion, while there are clear benefits on both sides, I strongly believe that investing in specialized sports facilities for average people brings more benefits.
