There is a widespread belief among some people that authorities should to expand more money on developing sports activities across children and not on preparing competitors to join large sports events, likewise Olympics. Both views have pros and cons, but I am convinced that major sports events have significant benefits.
I think that sports give children many benefits, but spending much more money on costly inventories, forms and additional sports clubs can be seen as a waste. The physical education lessons provided by school are enough for their physical health. The physical education lessons include standard exercises and some physical games, such as football, volleyball and basketball. Such lessons have good activities to their growth. Furthermore, I am convinced that school sports clubs are more than enough because children should focus on the major subject rather than do professional sports.
On the other hand, I believe in the idea that there are two key advantages to promoting costly sports events. Firstly, large competitions, such as the football World Cup allow many individuals to see their idols, feeling happier themselves and remember those unforgettable moments in all of their life. On such events, people can take photos with their favourite player or take their autograph and do some talk with them. Secondly, countries when were held such competitions becoming more popularities and on statistics, countries when were large sports events, percentages to visiting increase substantially. Moreover, if a player from some country displays a good game or can win, countries can get high figures for visiting or traveling to that country. For example, after the incredible game from Holland in the football World Cup, the number of visitors in Norway grew significantly thanks to him.
In conclusion, I think that raising image countries with the help of promoting large competitions is more essential than spend that money on sports clubs for children.
