Band 6+: Some educators think that international exchange visits would be beneficial for teenage school students ,while others think it might have some disadvantages. Do you think its advantages outweigh its disadvantages?

There has been discussion over international exchange visiting that is beneficial for teenage school students while it might have some disadvantages.

In this regard, some educators believe that teenages school students have some benefits in international exchange visiting, while other educators think it may also have some drawbacks. I personally believe its advantages outweigh its disadvantages.

There are some great advantages for teenage school students that do international exchange visits. In other words, visiting different countries at a young age has undeniable benefits. For one, students experience new cultures. This is because of two reasons. First, they are able to participate in historical events and ceremonies that have cultural backgrounds like new years parties which provide that country’s cultural traditions. Secondly, when they go to different restaurants in the local places, they will get a chance to try their special food which it is known for. Therefore, they get to know their cultures better. In addition, they can make new friends the whole time due to exploring new cultures and browsing the country. In other words, when they are looking for some local places to visit or while they are planning to participate in the events, they meet so many people and communicate with them and at the end of the day they have at least one person that connected with them and became their new friend.Thus, international exchange visits for teenage school students not only give them some incredible experiences but also so give them a chance to meet their new friends.

However, it may also have a disadvantage. This is because some countries have a rule for international exchange visits in which they do not count the years that those exchange students have been studying in that country. Meaning, they just get the credit but they don’t get to graduate on time, they have to come back and study those years that were gone which moves their graduation years later. Therefore, some students might change their mind about international visits due to not having a late graduation.

In conclusion, although international exchange visits might result in a late graduation, it can have some remarkable benefits including incredible experiences and making new friends. Accordingly, its upsides out number its downsides.
