Band 4+: Some employers offer their employees subsidizing membership of gyms and sport clubs, believing that this will make their staff healthier and thus more effective at work. Other employers see no benefit in doing so. Consider the arguments from both aspects of this possible debate, and reach a conclusion

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In these recent years, employer are seeking ways to enhance their staff’s productivity and loyalty relationship. Therefore, subsidized sport enhancement may be an effective way of achieving this aim. There are some arguments on both side will be discussed in this essay. Not yet my own point of view include to clarify this idea.

In one hand, gym and sport facilities are believed that enhances employee’s productivity and efficiency. Regular exercises can improve focus, energy level and emplyee’s well-being. Moreover, fitness option could be effective to lower stress level at work. Thus, it reduces the proportion of absenteteism and morale among staffs.

In contrast, some entrepreneurs strongly disapproved this perception which could lead to higher expense of building and maintaining the sport facilities. There are more ideas are discussed to improve the staff’s productivity such as providing training course of working skill or team building activities . Some people believe managing the stress at work is a combination of working skill and outdoor activities can be varied not just sport activities.

From these aspect, I perspectively support employer improving the staff’s performance with outdoor activities and training more skillful knowledge. Due to preference, they find the chance of developing their career rather than improving the mental health. One reason of boosting the higher expense can be a challenge for most companies while training course and outdoor excursion can be affordable.
