Many governments try to improve the economy of their country because they think it is the most important thing. But if they only focus on economic growth and forget about the environment and people’s needs, it can cause problems. This essay will talk about the problems and give some solutions.

One problem is the damage to nature. When countries build more factories and roads, they often cut down trees and pollute the air and water. This can make the earth warmer and hurt animals and plants. Another problem is that not all people get the benefits of economic growth. Rich people and big companies often get more money, while poor people do not get much help. This makes life harder for them.

To fix these problems, governments should also care about the environment and poor people. They can make rules to stop pollution and protect forests. They can also spend money on education, health care, and helping small businesses. This can give more chances to everyone, not just the rich.

In conclusion, only caring about money and economic growth can hurt the environment and make life harder for many people. Governments should try to grow the economy in a way that helps nature and all people.
