Band 5+: Some governments introduce subsidies to make healthy food more affordable, while others think individuals should take responsibility for their own diet without government intervention. Discuss both views and give your opinion. acquire overall well-being.

In contemporary times, governments changing their policies to improve public health. Some authorities implementing new subsidies to reduce cost of healthy food to make budget friendly. However, other argue that people have own choice to choose their diets. I completely agree with former view, as it make a significant benefit to for individuals’ fitness.

On the one hand, providing subsidies on healthy edible items, it makes them budget friendly. That is because, it reduces the tax and extra duties that cause for higher prices. So, budget conscious public include more healthy food in their diet. As a result, people’s perspective of purchasing has been changing over the period of time. When they see more benefits for buying fruits and vegetable, as they prefer add these things for eating rather than spending more money on junk foods. Therefore, it indirectly beneficial for not only for their health but also for managing monthly expenses. For example, as per survey of the Australian government reduce import duties in agricultural product, the sales is increased drastically up to 25%. So, when people obtain healthy goods in lower price and it advantageous for fitness and money, then they give priority for it.

On the other hand, majority folks make choice to take their food and nutrition to fulfil body’s requirements. Consequently, everybody needs deferent amounts of foods and micro nutrient to stay healthy. As they customize their diet plan by own requirement and preference. Because they need to add protein, carbs, and minerals in different proportion, as it came from variety of foods and supplements. If government make foster generals to buy healthy foods but without proper diet plan it not as much benefit compared to proper guidance. Deu to that, they think it is their own responsibility to take decision what they want to eat. In India, for instance, in 1990s, struggle with goitre disease because deficiency of iodin. If people eat daily same type of food than they obtain health problems.

In my perspective, normal people do not have a knowledge for the food and their health benefits, furthermore, all residents not afford to take dietician to take care their data and make personalized chart for them. Due to these reasons, everyone not able to take diets by own. as the government take small steps became valuable and plays a crucial role for all nationalities.

In conclusion, although individuals have freedom for eat healthy and make their personalised meal plan, it is not possible for all people. In my opinion, it is better option to take a step by the government behalf of them. As it applicable for the all over country and acquire overall well-being.
