One clear advantage is that AI makes content creation easy and cheap. In the past, making a good video or picture needed skill, expensive tools, and a lot of time. Today, anyone can create professional-looking images or short videos within a few minutes, using just a computer. This is especially useful for small businesses and students, who cannot afford to hire designers or filmmakers. In addition, AI can create scenes that would be too dangerous or too costly to film in real life, such as a volcano erupting up close or a historical event from hundreds of years ago.
On the other hand, this technology also causes serious problems. The biggest danger is fake news and misinformation. AI can create a video of a famous person saying something they never actually said, and many people might believe it is true. This can harm someone’s reputation or even affect important events like elections. Another issue is that people are starting to doubt everything they see online, because they are never sure if an image or video is real or AI-made. This is bad for trust in the media in general. Finally, many artists and photographers are worried about losing their jobs, since AI can now do work that used to require human skill.
In conclusion, although AI-generated content saves time and opens doors for creativity, it also brings real risks, especially around trust and honesty. In my opinion, we need clear rules to control how this technology is used, so that we can enjoy its benefits without the harmful side effects.
