Some people believe that energy drinks can stimulate a person when it is needed most. However, others are convinced that such drinks can bring health risks. Having weighed both sides of the argument, I take the view that individuals should not intake energy drinks because the latter can cause health disorders.
On one hand, it is common knowledge that energy drinks help to suddenly increase energy levels of individuals. This is because energy beverages contain a considerable amount of caffeine, which can deceive some specific parts of the brain by encouraging them to do more work. For example, this product is very common among students. Provided that I am still a student, I have many friends who reported that energy drinks, indeed, help to gain an additional surplus of energy and finish tasks before deadlines.
On the other hand, many individuals think that energy drinks can induce health problems. This perception stems from conclusions of numerous studies that were conducted on this topic. Those studies have reported that such drinks contain some substances that are detrimental for people’s brain. Likewise, people who consume energy drinks on a regular basis have much higher probability to have heart diseases, and also diabetes. Therefore, it is advisable to find more healthy options, such as tea and coffee since they also help to raise energy levels.
In conclusion, people buy energy drinks to get more strength to operate properly but I recommend that we remove the consumption of such drinks because they can inflict some severe illnesses on consumers. Additionally, those illnesses were proven terminal by many scientific experiments.
