Band 5+: Some old people today struggle with the use of modern techonologies such as smartphones and computers. What is the cause of this? What are some possible solutions?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In this day and age, more and more aged individuals find that use of modern innovations is quite a handicap. This essay will try to investigate the factors such as the functionality of the technology that have contributed to the cause of this issue and also recommend a panacea to solve it.

First and foremost, elderly people can not normally use gadgets because nowadays technology is rapidly developing and functionalizing. Most of the technology is related to the current and next generation, which is evident to everyone. However, older generations are not capable of using this stuff since they have no idea about new technology at all. It is also important to consider the fact that aged people are from the 20th century when technologies such as smartphones, computers, and TV were not as developed as the present one. According to the BBC Research Center, around 65 percent of United Kingdom-aged inhabitants find it hard to use the gadgets because of new and modern changes that are quite technological and require general knowledge.

In order to solve and prevent this difficulty, inventors of this technology can create straightforward instructions that will assist users when facing any problem. Firstly, elderly people should be introduced to this instruction before going to use the gadget. However, aged people can likely forget the rules and suggestions from the instructions because the ability to remember in old people will weaken over time. In this case, they will be provided with the help of the AI(Artificial Intelligence), whose responsibility is to navigate the user and tackle the problem.

In conclusion, aged people struggle to operate the gadget devices because of its functional changes and the solution is to furnish them with instruction and AI assistants.
