Some argue that childcare centres provide the best services for kids of preschool age while others assume that family members like grandparents are better caregivers for their children. I truly believe that childcare services provide better services than family members. The main reason is that it is their job to take care of children of preschool age.
Childcare centres provide the best services for kids of preschool age because they are professionals. The workers in childcare centres know how to communicate and cope with children. On top of that, childcare services differ from family members as they always have doctors and psychologist who can help young children whenever they need help while family members are not able to provide the same service. For example, the doctors in childcare centres provide medication and help to improve their health immediately.
Both family members and childcare centres make sure that the young children eat and sleep well but they differentiate when it comes to other areas of childcare.
The family members take care of young children with compassion and love. For example, grandparents usually treat their grandchildren with love. However, there are some drawbacks such as lack of immediate medical care. Additionally, the grandparents need to take care of themselves rather than taking care of children as they are elderly people. For instance, grandparents et tired easily and some of them have health problems which illustrates that the best decision is to let young children to be taken care at childcare services. In my opinion, the childcare centres have more pros than family members when it comes to childcare.
