Increment in population is inevitable. As a result, we often see lot of people on roads or public stations. Some argue that the government should allocate more money for building on metro and train less to avoid congestion. While other says that lengthy street need to be constructed and it is best method to deal with clogging. This essay will discuss both perspectives and give my own point of view.
To commence with, since most of nation individual uses public transport to travel from one place to another. Corporate employees do not own the private vehicle and tend to use gov transportation to reach their office from home and vice versa. In addition to that, travelling on non-private transport is cheap as compared to private ones. In peak hours like 8-10 am and 4- 7 pm, these places gets very crowded since every one leaves for the office or school and try to reach on time. For example, in India, the train mostly get overloaded with people in rushy hours. People will stand in cabin and even in doors just to reach their place. A survey conducted in India shows that, India needs 50% most train lines.
On the other hand, some believe that pupil wasted their time for stopping on signals that is places at the intersection of the road. Since the road length is small and they need to move to different connecting road to reach the destination. Due to these traffic signals on small roads, large amount of cars especially in the rushy hours will slowly move. That’s why people think the length road like big highways will not face these blockages problem. One good example here is New York city, if person goes to every street he will see the traffic everywhere. Original design of city did not take count for growing population of the city.
I agree that government should invest more in public transportation by constructing more metro and train lines because it will be beneficial for lot of the people.
To summarise, with the increase of population best way to cope with this is the building a large number of trains line to avoid blockage.
