There is a popular claim that having an enjoyable job is more crucial than being well-off. However, I support the idea that possessing a substantial income contributes to an improved quality of life.
The main idea is that affluent people have a lot of benefits. To be specific, people all over the world have just overcome the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, therefore, having a well earnings job nowadays is very vital to take care of all family members. Some dedicated people prefer providing their family a substantial life to doing some passion job because families are the inspiration for them, and they have an ability to sacrifice themselves. In some emergency cases, especially if some members suddenly have some severe illnesses, or their family suddenly want to have a vacation, they can cope with these situations easily, meanwhile, individuals who have pleasurable work lack this capability.
On the contrary, people who persevere with their passion usually emphasize their own emotions. They have their own ideal life that every day they must be motivated by their work. Another possible reason is having enthusiasm for the work can easily promote the company and succeed in their work, in the future, they can have an ability to be better-off. Therefore, many individuals choose to pursue their passion.
However, in my viewpoint, I would like to have an abundant salary although I must do some tedious work. Particularly, being capable of doing any hobbies is the ability that I want. I can have permission to travel to all gorgeous countries which are my intensively favorites. Besides that, I am a practical person, so I prefer rewarding jobs to satisfying jobs.
In conclusion, choosing an enjoyable job or well-off job depends on the personality of everyone. If a person is dedicated and can tolerate a lot of pressures, they can choose boring but rewarding work. Otherwise, doing a pleasurable job also has a lot of potential to be rich.
