It is often argued that household chores easier and improve the quality of life are being made by machines, while others believe that they make dependent and reduce human movement. I completely agree with this idea that machines make household chores easier and improve the quality of time, because household machines can reduce people’s workload and give them more free time to spend with their families and complete other important activities.
The first reason why I agree with this view is that machines make household chores easier and less time-consuming. Nowadays many people can use different appliances such as washing machines, vacuum cleaners, and dishwashers to complete many household tasks more quickly. As a result, they don’t need to spend several hours doing these chores manually. For instance, a washing machine can wash a large number of clothes within a short period of time. Consequently, people can get a lot of time to handle other works, especially people who have a job or other responsibilities outside the home.
Another reason why I agree is that they provide people more free time. When people, when machines take care of routine chores, people can use their time in several ways. They can spend their time relaxing as well as they can spend their time with their families and friends or may complete other necessary works. For example, nowadays people can spend their time in a dinner party or pursue other necessary interests instead of washing clothes or cleaning homes in the evening. As a result, they feel less stress and can easily balance their work and personal life. Thus, machines make people’s life more easier compared with the past.
In conclusion, although machines create dependency and reduce human interaction, I strongly agree that they minimize individuals’ workload and provide quality time to spend with their families and complete other necessary tasks.
