It is to a great extent acknowledged that friends and life partners play an important role to their children’s growth. Some people believe that parents should monitor and determine their children’s life direction while others think that young people should decide their own life. In the following paragraphs, both views of this topic will be discussed in detail before the conclusion is reached.
On the one hand, it is true to say that parents should guide their children with their experience in order to make good friends and couple. In other words, people that do not mean well may lead them to the incorrect way. For instance, they may persuade them to smoke a cigarette which is unhealthy to their body.
On the other hand, children should independently decide their own life; therefore, they will have opportunity to learn how to solve problem in real situation. This will enhance their skills in a long run, so they will be able to rely on themselves in the future. Furthermore, without parents’ intervention, they have a freedom to determine their life such as making friends and couple. This allow them to achieve what they really need in life.
In conclusion, it is undeniable that parents’ guiding provides a lot of benefit to children life, but I think that it is better to allow children to make their own decision because it is essential to provides them a freedom to live.
