Band 4+: Some people argue that video games and movies that contain violence contribute to the rising crime rates. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Many individuals often acknowledge the effect of inclining the rates in crime are online games and crime drama. This essay will debate only agreements in my perspective.

One of the major considered effects in crime rate is movie. According to statistics since television was made, the amount of crime commitments was much lower than right after this plot change innovation. Apparently, people who spend more time online are likely to become dangerous in society because of human behavior. Human kind psychology is mostly forced to make a role model as well as some have different perspective to pick the person to look up. Plus, it drastically inspires viewers to execute to take somebody’s life of. Furthermore, they may start sharing such homicide-bloody scenes with friends which leads to create chain in social network that might have gone viral through internet.

Another reason offence rank displays the movement upward is virtual combat games. Consequences of having a certain time with toxic games make players toxic which guides the way to murder the particular ethnic groups. For instance, the entertaining game called “Grand Theft Auto V”, that is the perfect representation of violence. The game includes vandalism, money heist, robbery, sexual harassment and some more. Although most parents do not have time to bring up their children, youngsters tend to care about themselves settling down in front of the monitor spending much time by consuming poisonous information. Thus, curious kids begin to browse the net with fetching such desire to make that happen in realm.

In conclusion, watching violent movies and playing games can increase crime rates by influencing some people, especially young ones, to behave aggressively. Violent content in games can change what people see as normal, especially if they do not have positive guidance from parents. For example, games like GTA V show criminal actions in a way that might encourage some people to imitate them in real life. Therefore, violent media may lead to more crime by affecting those who are easily influenced.
