With the development of media through the years, many young individuals begin considering the idea of delving into similar fields as they entail a wide variety of good opportunities. Nevertheless, being exposed to fame at a young age also opens the doors to uncontrollable consequences.
When considering a future career, parents strive to provide the best opportunities for their children. Some parents may consider fame as a once in a lifetime chance that could set their child for a successful future. For instance, if parents sign up their child from a young age to an acting audition, the child might grow up to have a bright career in future, with a stable income. Not only that but also such opportunities enhance a child’s communication skills, sense of responsibility, and talents.
On the other hand, fame exposes a child to several consequences that they might not be necessarily able to cope with. Some kids would fall into the comparison trap, where they would compare themselves , their incomes and their worth to their success. Furthermore, fame exposes kids to an uncontrollable amount of judgement from the outer world. With no filters to protect them, the famous kids would easily be negatively affected by such circumstances.
Another disadvantage that a young child might face due to fame is the lack of privacy. A child might start believing that he/she owes the fans some sort of content from their private lives. This aspect deprives an individual from living his/her life without the interference of untitled people.
In conclusion, although stability and a good financial income could be gained through fame, the disadvantages may outnumber the benefits it offers for an individual.
