While some people consider a high salary as a decisive factor in their job assessment, others evaluate a job acceptance based on their beneficial role in society. Although I can not ignore the importance of both income and usefulness of a profession, I believe other factors contribute to overall measurement as well.
On the one hand, some individuals are more willing to opt for jobs that solely provide them with ample income. The main reason behind this might be their passion for acquiring a high standard of living. From their perspective, they are more likely to reduce their concerns if they earn a lot of money. In the other words, they can not only address their basic necessities but also allocate enough budget to their preference pastimes or extra expenses
On the other hand, having a helpful position in a community is another deciding element in a job evaluation. Accordingly, some approved jobs can directly provide services in order to meet the requirements of society, such as healthcare, education, and public safe. This may be related to the concept of society, as individuals who are involved in it should take a responsibility for the overall progress of their community. For example, being a veterinarian is considered superb, as they have a vital role in diagnosing zoonosis diseases and improving public health, in addition to their capability ofcuring ill animals.
However, I strongly believe that an optimal job has another predominant feature which is experiencing an inner sense of satisfaction. From a psychological standpoint, individuals who pursue their passion and work in the area of their interest can have better efficiency and experience rapid promotions, leading to a higher revenue and also a strong sense of being useful in society. My mother always asserts that she has selected her job by following her childhood aspirations and personal enthusiasm. Her fondness of being a nurse has not only prevented her from being burnt out, but has also led to several significant achievements in her professional life.
In conclusion, even though different people can have various viewpoints about the most important feature of a job, I firmly believe job satisfaction is the most crucial trait of an ideal profession.
