Band 5: Some people believe it is better to raise children in the city, while others consider the countryside to be a more suitable choice. (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 2 Essay)

Some individuals opine that for the betterment of children,choosing a city to live in is the best option as people are bombarded with numerous facilities that one cannot get while living in a countryside;however, others suggest that village is the best place to reside in ,because of calm and clean atmosphere. Considering the benefits and obstacles associated with both approches I belive that upbringing of children should be in a city rather than in suburbs.

There are some compelling reasons that make urban areas more enticing for inhabitant.Firstly ,it opens an avenue for adolescents .To explain , the quality of education is more advanced as students are taught by the teachers who not only have an experience but also have a wealth of knowledge. Consequently,these qualities shape kids academically and help brighten their future;in addition, it equips them with smartness and brilliance.For example,in all metropolitan cities, there are ample educational institutes to prepare students for competitive examinations in order to pass them without any difficulties, even though tests are challenging. Moreover, if a child excels in some other kinds of activity like dancing, cooking, painting,football, or in cricket, they can easily find tutoring classes.

On the other hand, not all parents are able to afford city expenses due to the high prices of all the commodities like transportation, tuition fees,school fees,home rent, and for groceries .They have to pay for these from their salaries, but it is extremely daunting for the people who are earning a low remuneration and these expenditures make their condition worse. Furthermore , in village they get a pollution -free atmosphere because there are no industries that contaminate environment .For instance, in suburbs area, people give more preference to plant trees to create a cleaner and greener atmosphere ;therefore, improving well being of villagers.

In conclusion, after considering both views, I believe that although villages are more tidier than cities , but the resources it provides can lead their life towards progressive growth trajectories.
