Band 5+: Some people believe that advertising encourages us to buy things we do not need, while others argue that advertisements provide useful information about new products. discuss and give your opinion

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

It is true that advertising is everywhere from social media to billboards in this century. And it may encourage certain individuals to purchase unnecessary things/items. While other people argue that advertisements are found informative because with the help of them people can find easily their needs. From my perspective, without ads businesses would have developed.

Admittedly. Advertising is a key part of modern business. It is worth noting/mentioning that without the ads bussines would not have developed as now. Because we cannot imagine this industry without it. For instance, if there is something that should be adverted the best way to do it is to upload on the internet. If it is displayed on the internet it may be viewed by thousands of people or consumers within short period. Additionally, it can be shared in a quick way.

If this can be adverted in a funny or interesting way it can attract many people because almost ever one has access to the internet.

On the other hand, there are several reasons why ads ought to be forbidden. One of them is false information can spread quickly which is related to the ads. If there is more demand for that products quality may/could be lower. Secondly, I can make certain there are some ads that target only young children. Result in putting pressure their parents to buy those items/products. Furthemore, some marketing companies use well-known faces such as C.Ronaldo and/or film characters. Obviously, they are not expert of this field and they are lack of essential and reliable information about it.

To sum up, governments should bring forward legal system to control ads industry. If there are certain cases which leads to problems they should be fined.
