The opinions are divided as to wheter advertisements make people to purchase unnecessary products, with some asserting displaying new things positevly affect our live. While some would argue that advertising enable buyers to waste money, I believe they play an important role in society.
Some claim that, when companies advertise their each product everywhere, such as on billboards, social media and television, it becomes unavoidable to come accross them, which constantly fuels curiosity among people. Even when social media influencers show the advertised items in their stories and post, individuals are more tend to own the same products they see in the videos. This trend makes them to purchase things that are not needed indeed, just because of by influencing the attractivenes of advertisements.
However, I maintain the arguments in favor of advertising are far greater. One major advantage is that, it helps customers to get familiar with the products beforehand. In most advertisements, the companies display their services and items by explaining their functionalities and benefits which creates an overall understanding about the product. So, buyers gather useful information about them that would ease their jobs.
Another strong reason that I support advertising is that it enables products to be more visible and popular among households. By watching advertisiment, people may find new the things that they always needed or even do not know about such services absence. Advertising also contributes the products to be globally famous, which can reach more and more customers from different countries to improve their lives as well. Similarly, companies take advantages of this process by collecting more budget from sales.
