On the one hand, old structured must be preserved by two reasons. Firstly, people do not only maintenance ancient buildings, but also they upkeep historical value. Preserving historical areas can help young generation remind the sacrifice activities of older people in protecting the owned nation from enemies. And it can make students feel happier in history lessons. The second reason is to create profit from tourism. Each nation must have an unique symbol, such as The Great Wall in China, Eiffel Tower in France, Buckingham Palace in England,… And Viet Nam should have a symbol of nation such as Hue Castle, Cu Chi Tunnel to attract benefit from traveling. These places can be excited to people who have a passion in traveling and explore new things in the world. This activity allow us earn some money from foreign budget
On the other hand, old structures should be destroyed for two primary purposes. The first is to develop the economic in this area. These building should be demolished to make way for the factories and supermarkets. In developing countries, people need a lot of changes to get job. So, the government in this area must expand the trade opportunities to create more jobs. Malls and Factories can make more workforce than historical spaces. The second is the limitation of the budget. To renovate the old buildings, government have to spend a lot of money up to million dollars. it can be wasted activity If they do not gain enough profit for this invest. However, they can pay the expenditure in upgrading schools, hospitals and roads. This facilities can make people life more convenient.
To sum up, government should calculate carefully before they make a decision in rebuild the old structures in their nation. They just build when they make sure that they can gain more profit from this invest, or they will lose their money and make the life of people more difficult
