Firstly, a number of individuals consider that children can watch tv without anyone’s interpretation. It helps them to make decision independently at a very early age. Which will reflect when the children will grow up. Mainly children watch cartoon shows or something related to them if parent control this it will affect their decision. If kids like to watching a educational shows on tv they can gain some knowledge from this. Parent should not interfere with this. Suppose in a family everyone watching tv serial but the children want to watch another particular show they like parents should give him the freedom to choose the show. Since tv serial is not a thing for a child to watch.
On the other hand, there are some people who thinks watching something on tv should be monitor by parents. Since the amount to tv channel exists is hardly anyone can guess. In those channels there are numerous shows running some shows are good some shows are bad. If children watch a vulgar show on television it will affect negatively the children’s growth. Thus, it should be controlled by parents. Watching unappropriated activities for children is harmful. I know a teen whose parent let him watches whatever he like and few days later it turns out that he watching a R-rated movie.
