Making choices on daily matters such as food, clothes and so on by children is argued by two groups of society. Some consider that it makes children to become egoists due to focus on wishes, when another group thinks that it is important for them to make a choices which generates a responsibility in their mind. However, I consider that children have to take a decisions but with an advices of their parents.
On the one hand, choices can make children to avoid wishes, except their own in the future. Whether children think about the desicions, they may not include other opinions. It might naturally provide generations who will not think about other. To illustrate, some parents gave their children an authority to make a choices and after that they became selfish and egoistic. So giving children an authority to take a desicions might have negative affects.
On the other hand, it has significant benefits to take a daily desicions as a child. It makes a child more responsible because they make their own choice and they are taking a risk by that. For instanse, some schools give a youngsters choices about their subjects. They can choose whatever they want that gives them a risk and a responsibility for it. It definitly has benefits.
Although both arguments have their own possibilities, I consider that parents must give them a choice and an advises for it. Making desicions is difficult, espessially for a youngster that have no experience, but it is not a reason why parents need to reject child’s ability to choose. Children must take a risk, responsibility and take a desicions, but with an advices of parents who grew up them. It will both affect to a confidence level with child’s parents and for child’s responsibility and ability to make a desicions in the future. For instanse, people who can fastly make a choices and have a trust relationships with parents usually used to make a choices with some advices. It defenitly have more benefirts.
Considering both arguments, authority to take a desicion might have its essential impact in responsibility and egoistic emotions. However, my own opinion was to give a child an authority to choice but with some advices.
