I strongly agree that students should be taught money management in school. Due to the world where money plays the main role people should learn to manage them from their school ages.
The main attraction of it is financial literacy. For instance, the children who used to graduate school without knowing how save, invest or budget their own money will easily and strategically handle with their money. Besides, it is the essential skill of life. As an example of it, clear understanding how credit cards work prevent future debt, the way it works and how the world of money built.
Furthermore, teaching money management early builds responsibility and independence. Students will learn the value of money and make better choices because of deep understanding how hard it is to earn money for their parents. Those who learn financial literacy lessons from their young ages are more likely to avoid unnecessary loans. Scientifically say, the existence of abilities in managing money leads into the sensible decisions in their further life. As a matter of it start-ups or any business they start. Being acknowledged in these area they can easily make the business successful.
On the other hand, there are a lot of subjects beside financial literacy lesson. Making over-weight on the children in their ages also wrong. Despite of this fact, the parents are the main people who will manage with the money and there is no need in learning this skill at little ages. However, there are some parents who do not know how to manage money right or do not have a time to explain to their children the matter of money.
All in all, while parents are responsible for money, the children also should learn how to manage money at school unless it is late and could cause irreversible results by lack of knowledge in this topic.
