It is considered by some that young adults’ success hinges on how mothers and fathers have upbrought them. To a certain extent, I agree that youngsters’ achievements are linked with their legal guardians; however, I also believe they are primarily due to their hard work and determination.
On the one hand, parental guidance plays a key role in the success of their offspring, because they create a foundation for them in order to become successful. In other words, they provide them with a safe environment and education opportunities, assisting them to become one step ahead in life compared with the children who do not have fathers or mothers. To illustrate, there are numerous students that cannot graduate from educational institutions due to the lack of budget. Meanwhile, the youth who get financial support from their families can easily finish their education and embark on a career.
On the other hand, success requires constant and determined work. Children need to strive for getting a better education and occupation. This is because even if they have their parents’ support, at the end it is them who need to enact. That is to say, young individuals must have a purpose in life to work toward, which is their duty to find and proceed it. For instance, after determining their desired job, they can enroll in courses and engage in internship programs, obtaining enough knowledge and practice in their fields. Moreover, consistency is necessary in order not to give up when they counter with challenges. To illustrate, while studying, they are required to do research or take exams, which would sound as an ordeal experience for them. Nevertheless, they are the common responsibilities that they need to put into practice if they have an aspiration to be successful.
In conclusion, although parents provide their kids with a basis to become successful, I assert that children can attain success only if they illustrate hard work and determination.
