Many people believe that research in a lot of topics bring a lot of impact on society, however, some believe that the experiment sometimes caused negative implications. In my opinion, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages and this essay will justify with some arguments and examples.
To begin with, the groundbreaking innovations are coming from compilation of some research like in technology and agriculture. In technology field, the development in science leads to inclusivity of communication across the people and distance. For example, the innovation of devices (mobile phone, laptop, computer) and internet help people to communicate and discover innovation.Additionally, agriculture development has been developed since the last centuries to accommodate exponential growth of population with high quality and quantity. For example, genetic modified soy beans, potato, or tomato could resistant from thread and produced more.
However, some people believe that the disadvantages could potentially occur during the experiment. In health field, specifically when formulated medicine or skincare, the research often put experiment on animals before it could be used in human. Although there is an ethical research procedures that should be followed by researcher, the protester believes that this action could harm the animals and wrong due to animal rights. While in digital technology the violation regarding rights might be happened in misuse of users data for personal advantage.
All in all, significant and long-term benefit of extensive research could contribute to human civilization and practical results. However, some unintended consequences like animal and human rights abused might be happened.
