While some people believe that criminal behaviour can be inherited, but it seems to me that external factors are the reason for such a result.
On the one hand, there is one reason why people think criminal behaviour is something genetic, obvious reason is that people are convinced by the idea that children are most likely to be a copy of their parents or people with whom they have family branches. For example, by this logic if a kid’s father is a teacher it’s most likely that the kid may influenced by an idea to be similar to his father or his father would like to him to continue his job
On the other hand I agree with those who consider that external factors are the reason to person to became a criminal. Firstly, poverty can be the main reason because money is needed in many spheres of life and if you don’t have money it may bring a lot of difficulties. For example, for good education you need money and without proper education it’s most likely that you will not get a good job and salary. Secondly, the environment should also be taken in account. For example if you are living in a bad neighborhood, where crime often happens, you may be involved into some kind of criminal activity.
In conclusion, while some people believe that people engage in criminal activities due to genetic factors, there are higher influence made from external world.
