Thanks to the advancement of technology, robots have emerged in some occupations to supplant high-level tasks in order to ease the burden on staff. Some people, therefore, assert that finally all fields will definitely be done by artificially intelligent robots. From my perspective, I strongly agree with this opinion for several reasons.
First and foremost, it is true that with the emergence of artificially intelligent robotics in some particular fields, long-distance operations will be put into use, which reduces the potential risks in several manual jobs. For instance, the mining industry has always hidden great dangers for employees for centuries due to its extreme underground working environment. It is said that more lives were lost and more workers were injured owing to the darkness and unexpected accidents at mines. Therefore, some enterprises have introduced robots to combine with humans in this field in order to minimize the hazards of mining. Some underground missions would inevitably be taken over by machines, while engineers would be sent to the surface for the benefit of their well-being, both physically and psychologically. For the comfort of the workers in the mining industry, robotics, AI, and satellite technology will combine to allow employees to control from a faraway office. Driverless trucks or automated machines could also be run from comfortable offices with minimal human intervention on the ground and no risk of death or injury. This could feasibly attract more young personnel to this field and could undoubtedly advance job performance.
Moreover, robots could be a helping hand for employees in a great number of fields. For example, in the medical field, there are some tasks that robots could easily be proficient in thanks to their incredible accuracy. Introducing robots in hospitals will inevitably become a fixture in the whole medical field. Robots will undoubtedly take over the heavy-lifting work that nurses used to have to do. Moreover, robots could give the right diagnosis using carefully programmed algorithms. With the combination of robotics, not only medical staff but also patients could benefit, thanks to the application of artificial intelligence. Some sophisticated pieces of robots could be used in the recovery processes of patients or even in the field of home health care. They could immediately learn and adjust the routines of patients, which creates the most suitable environment for patients to recuperate. This could, therefore, increase the quality of hospitals and minimize the death rates among humanity, which gradually leads to a healthier society.
In summary, I totally believe that all jobs could be taken over by artificial intelligence-based machines in terms of human safety and comfort in some particular jobs.
