In today’s fast-paced world, the issue of whether spending money on public services has sparked considerable debate. Some individuals believe that government should increase financial support for public services, while others argue that it should allocate more money for arts and culture.
To begin with, proponents of investing additional funds in essential services such as healthcare and education assert that it should be quite important for upcoming generations as long as we are living in the 21st century. They argue that government should invest more in healthcare and education instead of funding the arts and culture. For example, there are countless disabled people in the world and they need medical care. Supporting young individuals would be a useful way to make an improved world, including medical treatment and high-quality education
On the other hand, those who advocate for investing in culture and arts believe that financial support would make culture and arts more popular if the government allocated more funds to them. They contend that it would make their country well known among others. For instance, South Korea is known for supporting people who are interested in the arts and cultural activities. That is why Korean culture such as K-pop, K-drama, K-fashion and K-beauty are beloved in the world, especially by young individuals.
In conclusion, while both viewpoints have their merits, I strongly believe that supporting both sides would be beneficial. The reason for my stance is that people need both of them. Ultimately, people need entertainment as much as they need public services.
