Some individuals think that governments should pay full course fees for students who want to study in universities.
While i recognize that the government not paying tuition for students who want to study universities will bring certain benefits, I am more convinced to the viewpoint that the government needs to pay tuition for students who want to study universities.
On the one hand, there are better endowed families who still have enough money to pay for their children’s universities tuition. When the government has to pay a large amount of money for students who want to go to university, it will put pressure on the state budget, leading to economic decline. There are many students who rely on government money and refuse to study, leading to a decline in academic progress.
On the other hand, The government should provide tuition for poor students in difficult circumstances. Because they don’t have money to go to school and then they will drop out. So the country will miss out on a talented person. When receiving subsidies, they will try their best to be worthy of the money the government spends. In order not to miss out on potential students’ efforts, the government should pay tuition for deserving people.
To recapitulate, from the above argument, i reaffirm that both of the above views have convincing arguments, however my support leans towards the need for the government to pay tuition for students who want to go to universities.
