Nowadays, some people believe that governments must provide financial support to retirees. While others think that they should save money to help themselves in the future when they would become old. I totally believe that countries must support retiree citizens especially financially to provide them with a good life.
To begin with, in certain poor countries governments have already stopped giving money to older people after retiring, because of the lack of financial resources caused by young people who are taking new jobs. That can generate a significant pressure specifically on poor countries. For example, if countries have tried to upgrade new employees salary, they will never manage to do that, because of retired people that have already made government suffer from too much pressure on budget.
Moreover, in other countries who they are having laws and rules that mentioned to protect older people’s financial positions, especially who have worked in the governments before. However, they consider that as a retirement gift for all the years that they had been working for the country. For instance, if someone has been teaching young people all over the years, country must protect and support him even after retirement because he gives a huge service for the country and now it is time for rewards.
in conclusion, the financial support that is given by the government is very important and crucial thing for older people. However, in many countries, they have failed to provide that reward for the people who have helped the country the earlier.
