Some people believe that governments should spend more money on preventing diseases and promoting healthy lifestyles rather than on treating illnesses. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is ongoing debate how the government should be allocated funds to healthcare system. Some people said that the government should allocate to funding for preventing disease and encouraging healthier lifestyle, other believe that public funding should be spent on recovering diseases. I firmly agree that the authorities should prioritize preventing diseases and encouraging healthy lifestyle.
One reason is that preventing diseases paves a way for healthier society. This is because this approach is cost-effective and sustainable in the long run. When the authorities invest in health education, physical activity programme, and affordable nutrient guidance, they can reduce the triggers of chronic conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. As a result, the medical professionals can detect the diseases in early stage, which in turn simplify treating. Moreover, it is essential to encouraging physical exercises among people, which improve the well-being and the quality of life.
However, it is important to recognize that some disorders require special treatment who are a cancer, a genetic illnesses, and infection diseases. Hence, the government should introduce support adequate health infrastructures to support patients. If the institutions promote free medical diagnoses to define serious illnesses, it would survive many people’s life.
In conclusion, although treating diseases is undeniably important, prioritizing preventive patterns would be effective and long-term benefit. Therefore, a balanced approach is vital.
