Some people have the opinion that handwriting does not make sense in the present world and should not be studied in school. Personally, I think the idea of using only keyboards to write something down is terrible, as it may affect your writing skills. However, writing down on paper is not as practical and fast as writing on the computer.

Well it is well known fact that writing by hand develop your cognitive function and can help with memories information. For example, students usually develop better the fine motor skills through handwriting. As a result, writing by hand is a basic skill, that every literate people should be able to use in everyday life.
On the other hand, modern life shows that handwriting is not so practical as writing with keyboard. With keyboard people write faster and with technology could see were they doing a mistake. That all modern functions makes process of studying or work easier. Ultimately, that is the main reason why in the modern world more often individuals reject basic type of writing.
To conclude, I believe that handwriting should not be replaced even when computer technology play an important role in modern education. In terms of practical usage of time computers might win, but hand writing is fundamental skill, that benefit learning and every day communication in several times.
