There are people who believe that children who participate in criminal acts should be punished, because they fully understand threats to other people, while others think that parents should be punished because parents responsible for their children’s ubringing and behaviour.
Children who commonly commit crimes often understand the risks they are taking. A lot of kids nowadays are informed about the consequences of crimes like drug distribution due to constant news about the punsihments for drug spreading and preventive conversations with teachers. For example, in Kazakhstan, many schools invite police to explain the seriousness of punishments due to the rising tendency of drug spreading among youth.
On the other hand, parents play a big role in children’s behaviour and actions. The reason why children may commit various crimes is the lack of attention to them. Some parents can ignore the possible dangers in society that their kids can encounter and do not disccuss how to deal with them. For example, many children is under the risk to meet the suspicious persons that encourage them to commit crimes. Parents can prevent it by explaining the tips how to avoid it and always talk with their children about their circle of people.
In conclusion, there is people who believe that children should be responsible for their actions, while others think that parents should be punished instead. I personally believe that children should take the punishment by themselves because most of them are informed about the consequences of criminal acts.
