Some people advocate that accepting an unpleasant situation, for instance, an unfulfilled job or financial constraint is the ideal choice, however, others are in the favour of taking risks to overcome these sorts of situations. This essay will discuss both perspectives, although I firmly agree that a well thought action must be taken to minimize unfavorable circumstances.
Those who support the idea of accepting adverse conditions may experience less stress and have an ample amount of time for their leisure activities, as they do not strive for a big change. For instance, someone who is pleased with whatever they have would not think of a side hustle or any other way to improvise a challenging situation. Moreover, these people escape the daily grind and indulge themselves in some activities such as, football, swimming etc.
On the other hand, others are convinced that it is beneficial for individuals to take a few calculated risks in order to come out of a bad situation. For instance, a famous piece of research which was conducted in India showed that the individuals who resigned their hectic 9 to 5 jobs and opted for entrepreneurship experienced manifold benefits in terms of finances, health, social status, etc. As a result, taking well thought steps, in spite of dozens of challenges, is advisable to step out of a bad situation.
In conclusion, although both views offer valid arguments, I believe that one who is genuinely willing to step out from an unpleasant situation must not feel hesitant when taking risks. The government should take a few measures to provide awareness for the people who are willing to improve their life situations by providing some platforms to learn a demanding skill and earn a good living.
