In today’s society, some individuals believe that the best option is to confront difficult situations rather than avoiding them, while others argue that it is better to do their utmost to improve those situations. This essay will discuss both perspectives before presenting my own opinion.
First and foremost, some people consider enduring challenges to be the best choice due to their comfort zones. Feeling secure in these situations, they are reluctant to lose the advantages that come with familiarity. Additionally, they assume that everyone is facing similar struggles, thus viewing themselves as an ordinary part of the system. For example, I have a classmate who is still studying with me at university, despite having disliked his chosen field from the beginning. He does not attempt to change his situation, as he fears the challenges that might arise from doing so.
On the other hand, there are individuals who strive to mitigate problems and improve their circumstances. They embrace the difficulties they encounter, acknowledging that they only have one life to live. Consequently, they willingly take on extra responsibilities and challenges that come their way. Furthermore, they believe that it is better to address issues that are difficult for them rather than remain in their comfort zone. For instance, my sister decided to drop out of university when she realized she wanted to start her own business, rather than continue studying in a field that did not interest her.
In conclusion, I agree with the latter perspective, as it leads to a more fulfilling life rather than remaining stagnant in one place.
