Over these decades, there has been a discussion about whether it is considered moral to publish and share scientific information, business, and academic world. However, it is common for individuals to deem that some of the information should not be shared because of some factors: it is too valuable to be shared freely with citizens. This essay will discuss both views and present my own point of view.
First and foremost, sharing useful information with folks may be beneficial, as they would provide the latest, important knowledge that could be helpful for people, like students at colleges, to find literature for their research project, or simply to enhance their perspective or knowledge, or to improve their reading skills. Therefore, it may lead to a better community in the country. For example, the Japanese are very fond of reading books or scientific literature in their daily lives, or simply to spend their leisure time, which leads them to have wider information on specific topics. Such a habit could be meaningful for their nation when facing real-world problems.
Understandably, some part of citizens believe that scientific discoveries or business articles should not be published freely due to some factors. Discovering something important may take a very long time to provide accurate information. Ultimately, some articles should have to be purchased to become available to appreciate the founders and their time they took to research valuable things. That is why some people tend to disagree that significant information should be published freely.
To conclude, sharing information freely may be beneficial for folks. But appreciation for the founders should be encouraged as well by buying their works. I believe that to give the citizens free information could be very important, so that people are able to save their money to invest in other needs while expanding their information.
