There are some perspectives thet children should be taught the literature and history of their countries first, rather than the literature and history of other countries. I totally agree with this view and will give my reasons below.
In my opinion, there are some reasons for teaching pupils the literature and history of their own nations. When children teach that subjects they learn their culture and tradition. In addition, they know their famous people in history who they have achieved a lot and left his name in history. For example, Amit Temur, Alisher Navaiy and other historical persons that they popular with their great works and they left many golden sources for us. That is way, we should give more information about our history and literature. As the result, young people are proud with them, they try to be like them and as well as improve the level of education.
By contrast, studying global events are not necessary, it is difficult and confusion. For example, we have not seen India and Russian history to give to British children learning their history and literature it is needless for them. Especially, young children at primary and secondary age are simply not yet ready. Foreign countries learning history more important their own children then others.
In conclusion, literature and history are valuable subjects for educating people. In my opinion, they both local and foreign, should be taught to children.
