Some people believe that teaching their own language to their children is more important than teaching foreign languages. I agree to this idea to a certain extent because we should preserve our culture and teach the language that we have been passed on as a responsible person.

With the advancment in technology and the rise of social medias, Cultures have started a homogenization proccess which could lead to erosion of some cultural values. This is a dangerous problem and should be at a high priority. Culture is something a society has developed over the years and its hard to restore when it is lost. We can observe and learn this fact from history. When Islamic empier invaded persian empire, arabic was going to become the latter main language. However, with the help of authors, the persian language was preserved.

Our parents tuaghts us their own language and have passed on a huge reponsibilty that each of us should uphold. This is the first and most important role that has been assigned to us, failing in this role does indicate how are we going to perform in other roles. Hence, we should try our best to help in culture and language preservation however we can.

In conclusion, we should try to keep our culture and language both as a responsibility and a sense of pride. I can be certain that you will feel more proud of yourself if you take just one step in this direction. This step could be teaching your own literature to your children.
